and continued to promote its product. Sales doubled; Coke became
the #1 cola in the world.

At the same time, Moxie Cola, which at one time had outsold Coke,
cut back promotion. Sales plunged. Today, Moxie is a boutique cola
only available in eastern New England.

Moral of the Story: In tough times, you must continue to promote
