participatory approach to making their businesses more

[MSIG], a weekly meeting where entrepreneurs and
professionals learn about marketing in general, as well
as specific information and ideas for being more
successful in business.

business groups and professional associations, Lorne

Lorne
has provided strategic marketing and technical
communication services to clients in these sectors:
Banking, education, entertainment, finance, food,
hardware, healthcare, non-profit, software,
telecommunications, and training. Working with clients
and vendors, Lorne has managed projects and created
strategic material for target audiences. He has produced
website content, email messages, newsletters, brochures,
procedures, proposals, training material, and user
manuals.
Lorne
worked in computer systems analysis for large
companies and progressed into technical
communication as an independent consultant. Given
the opportunity to contribute to the marketing efforts
of his clients, Lorne moved to where he is now, a
marketing education, strategy, and communications
consultant based in San Rafael, California.
Augmenting
years of experience, Lorne stays current in the
latest marketing techniques through a substantial
commitment of time and resources to seminars with
recognized marketing experts.
Lorne's
undergraduate work was in economics and English, his
graduate studies in telecommunications management. He
builds websites, using the most popular WYSIWYG product,
and has proficiency with basic HTML and JavaScript
commands. He serves on the board of directors of an
information technology industry forum.
When not
working, Lorne, a native San Franciscan, is playing
soccer or watching his favorite team for
inspiration.
